You're part of history.

A key part of Troy's proud heritage

Originally built in 1895, the building was home to Van Zandt, Jacobs and Company.  It was a major part of why Troy earned the moniker ‘Collar City’—and this lineage is why the building is now on the National Registery of Historic Places.

Shared work areas

A place to make, a place to learn.

Whatever the discipline, there are spaces designated for research and planning, creative execution and storage of your materials. And it’s all on premise, available to you whenever inspiration hits.

Creative community / Gallery

Inspiration, support & connections.

The lower level is home to Collar Works, a collective whose mission is to promote art and artists within the Capital Region. The team works to help on premise artists with guidance and exposure plus manages a gallery for local/regional shows and installations.
